Another version, slightly larger, and with only very minor differences in the foliage, today in the Museum für Kunst und Kulturgeschichte, Dortmund, was published by Friedländer as by Isenbrandt (although as his note makes clear, he did not attempt to distinguish between Isenbrandt and his highly productive workshop).1 The figure grouping originates from a print by Martin Schöngauer.
