Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a thick band of retouching along the lower margin and in the lower right corner, as well as areas of retouching around her jawline, the contours of her hands and arms, and in the lower parts of her drapery. There are other scattered small spots and fine lines to disguise the appearance of craquelure, in her bare shoulder for example. In overall fairly good condition.
