Each watercolour and bodycolour on vellum, the six miniatures mounted en cage in a gold snuff-box, the borders chased with flowers, the divisions with draped columns, the linings with the charge mark of Henry Clavel and Jean François Kalandrin (1782-1789), date letter P86 (1786-1787), the box probably 19th century

The box: 39 mm. (height), 84 mm. (width) 47 mm. (depth)
