of rectangular form, the burr walnut top with a gilt-metal three quarter gallery, above one central door with an inset brass grille lined with beige silk, opening to reveal one shelf, on a plinth base, the sides outlined with gilt-bronze mounts and brass inlays, the lock stamped with crowned ‘VR’
