A PAIR OF GEORGE III STYLE GILT-BRONZE NINE-LIGHT GIRANDOLES, IN THE MANNER OF ROBERT ADAM, LATE 19TH CENTURY
each surmounted by a vase with an anthemion finial on a waisted foliate foot and dish issuing three scrolling and reeded branches terminating in a foliate stem and gadrooned dish with four ram masks and reeded drip-pan, above a wasited foliage and pearled stem and further dish, issuing six conforming branches, the ovoid body with trailed boss on three husk-trailed monopodia headed by a crowned and winged maiden-mask, joined by floral swags and a circular stretcher, terminating in hoof feet, on a concave-sided, canted, stepped triangular base with foliate bands, with frosted lamp shades, fitted for electricity
