A LOUIS XIV-STYLE GILT-MOUNTED TURTLESHELL CLOCK/BAROMETER IN THE MANNER OF ANDRÉ-CHARLES BOULLE, CIRCA 1850


8½-inch clock dial with enamel cartouche numerals and with an enamel plaque inscribed Gaudron A Paris, the similarly inscribed movement with vase-turned pillars, numbered external locking plate striking on a bell, Brocot escapement and suspension, 4½-inch barometer dial with enamel plaques, replaced glass tube, the gilt-mounted case veneered with brown shell inlaid in brass with foliate scrolls and ribbon-tied foliage and surmounted by a crown and globe
