printed, painted and gilt with the accolé arms of France and Portugal, reserved against a crowned rococo cartouche above the date 1886 and the banner inscribed HOMMAGE DU BERRY, the dark blue borders etched and gilt with fleur de lys and foliage, comprising three comports, 22.7cm. diameter, 7.5cm. high, and sixty plates, 23.5cm. wide, gilded marks to reverse ‘Pillivuyt et Cie. à Mehun (Cher) Maison à Paris 46 rue Paradis’
