4to (243 x 249mm.), one of 2,600 copies, illustrated throughout (photographic plates and illustrations and lithographs, some coloured), original black boards lettered in red and blue, extremities slightly chipped
This richly illustrated work on Bauhaus and its artistic achievements contains contributions by Kandinsky and Paul Klee; the internal layout was designed by Moholy-Nagy, who wrote the text on typography, and the striking cover lettering was by Herbert Bayer.
