This works is made of stitched re-used jute sacks, fabric, string, dried palm fronds and planks of wood covered in fabric. As intended by the artist, the sacks display surface dirt and some oil stains throughout, documenting their previous history. Similarly, the tears in the sacks and unraveling of string in places are likely inherent and consistent with the nature of the material used. Overall, the work is in good original condition.
