Structure: The canvas appears to be original. The canvas appears to be slightly loose and exhibits a faint rippling. There are very light impression lines from the stretcher visible on the recto. Only visible on very close inspection.
Surface: The work exhibits small light grey/white transculent spots of residue throughout. These appear to be removable. Small areas of very minor surface loss in places, for example to the background in the lower left-hand quadrant and along the upper framing edge (the later is likely due to previous framing/stretching). There is a piece of cello tape along the upper right hand edge. This appears to be removable, however please note that the tape is partially adhered to the paint surface.
UV Light: Inspection under UV light reveals some uneven fluorescence along the edges of the work where the canvas meets the frame. No clear signs of significant restoration or repair.
Overall: The above excepting, the work appears to be in good original condition.
