Condition Report

Both works exhibit a curl in the paper, an indication of having once been rolled. Both works exhibit light creases and wrinkles as well as a light fold line running horizontally across the center. Minor surface marks to the paper in places, most noticeably to 'Water'. There are pinholes to all four corners of each work. Light discolouration in places.

Water:

Minor areas of loss to the upper left-hand corner of 'Water'. Sellotape to the upper left corner as well as very light abrasions to the corners on the reverse, where it appears tape was removed.

Wawa:

Minor area of loss to the lower right-hand corner of 'Wa Wa'. Three pieces of masking tape affixed to corners on the reverse. 'Wa Wa' exhibits a cockling to the paper due to the watercolour being executed on a piece of paper which has been glued down to the off-white sheet that can be seen in the catalogue illustration. The watercolour is beginning to lift away from the paper within the center of the right-hand edge. A handful of micro tears to edges in places. Handful of minor abrasions as well as evidence of minor glue and paper residue to the reverse.

Please note this work is framed and has been examined outside of its frame.
