• Movement: oval gilded movement, wolf's tooth winding, cylinder escapement, plain flat three-arm balance

• Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands

• Case: gold, the crucifix of pierced foliate design, centrally crossed with black enamel panels heightened with pearls, hinged cover to the dial with polychrome enamel painting of the Virgin and Child after Raphael framed by diamonds and surrounded by a gold wreath, monogrammed hinged back cover with decoratively engraved border, small pusher at base of the central black enamel band to open dial cover, winding crown beneath bow, pusher for engaging hand-set at upper left side, case back numbered 7966
