• Movement: iron full plate, verge escapement, plain flat balance, stackfreed and striking hammer mounted to the backplate, cylindrical pillars, bell to inside back  

• Dial: re-gilded, engraved Roman numerals with half hour divisions between and touch pins above, the centre chased and engraved with flowers and foliage, blued steel floriate hand

• Case: re-gilded brass, lid with pierced roundels for the numerals, the centre pierced, chased and engraved with the Virgin Mary and Christ child within a blazing mandorla, inside lid decoratively engraved, bulbous case sides with pierced and engraved scrolling decoration, the back with similarly pierced, chased and engraved decoration depicting Christ crucified to the centre, a skull and cross bones beneath, the whole surrounded by scrolling flowers and foliage
