Movement: gilded, lever escapement, 33 jewels, mono-metallic balance, damascened rotor signed Astrolabium Ulysse Nardin, numbered 903 196

Dial: tri-colour dial, blued steel hands indicating mean time, sun hand indicating solar hour, sunrise, sunset, dawn, dusk, month and zodiac sign on planespheric ecliptic, temporal hours, equinoxes, moon hand indicating moonrise, moonset and phases of the moon, positions of the sun, moon and stars as seen from Earth, gilt dragon hand indicating eclipses of the sun and moon, single crown controlling all the functions

Case: 18ct two-colour gold, yellow gold body, stepped bezel with white gold octagonal section, upper yellow gold bezel calibrated with Roman numerals, crown with protective two-colour gold shoulders, large gold ring bow, polished case back with personalised engraving, signed to the interior Ulysse Nardin, Astrolabium Galileo Galilei
