A RARE AND UNUSUAL GOLD FORM WATCH IN THE SHAPE OF A SUIT OF ARMOUR WITH ARMORIAL SEAL TO THE BASE
CIRCA 1890
[ 罕有黃金鎧甲造型懷錶，底座銘刻紋章，年份約1890]
• Movement: nickel, lever escapement, bi-metallic compensation balance
• Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, blued steel moon hands, signed Hy Moser & Cie
• Case: gold, in the form of a suit of armour, the breast plate with plaque chased and engraved with the Madonna & Child and with the legend Krolowa Kor Polskiej, belt of semi-translucent blue enamel, seal to base engraved with coat of arms, the armour opened by depression of the crown, pin set for hand adjustment at right of stem, base above seal with maker's stamp AS in square cartouche
