• Movement: gilded ²/₃ plate, gold lever and escape wheel, bi-metallic compensation balance, ruby end-stone, signed and numbered A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte b/Dresden, no. 17306

• Dial: white enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute ring with red Arabic numerals, gold Louis XV-style hands, sunken subsidiary seconds, signed A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte B/Dresden

• Case: gold, chased and engraved bezels, each side set with black enamel panels, the front with central diamond bordered by further diamonds heightened with gold foliate work, the back centred with a single rose-cut diamond, plain polished gold cuvette, case and cuvette numbered 17306, front cover numbered 6

• Chain: later yellow gold, black enamel cylindrical links, interspersed with pearls, French control marks
