• Movement: frosted gilded, cylinder escapement, wolf's tooth winding, plain three-arm balance

• Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, blued steel moon hands

• Case: 18ct gold with stippled finish, the cover with polychrome enamel painted posy of flowers, monogrammed cartouche to case back surrounded by polychrome enamel painted spray of flowers including forget-me-nots, pansies, morning glory and rose, plain polished gold cuvette signed and numbered Patek Philippe & Co., Genève, No. 32524, case back numbered 32524, front cover numbered 24

• Brooch: unsigned gold and polychrome enamel painted, decorated en-suite with the watch

Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming production in 1867 and sale on 9 June 1869. The Extract confirms the 'Vermicelle' engraved case covers with painted flowers. Although the brooch is unsigned and not mentioned on the Extract, the style of its decoration closely follows that of the watch case and it appears to be of contemporaneous date.
