• Movement: unsigned gilt-brass, eccentric layout, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm balance, decoratively engraved balance cock and slim central bridges, hanging barrel with decoratively engraved cover

• Dial: black enamel, the centre with a pair of symmetrically arranged pearl-set cornucopia from which emanate pearl-set barley sheafs, opaque blue enamel chapter ring, seed-pearl set Roman numerals, outer minute ring

• Case: gold, milled band, the back with engine-turned decoration centred by a vacant cartouche, gilt metal cuvette with directionals for winding and hand-setting, case numbered 117 and with indistinct case maker's mark, possibly IT
