A GOLD AND ENAMEL QUARTER REPEATING BROOCH WATCH LIKELY CONVERTED FROM A RING
CIRCA 1815
[瑞士製黃金畫琺瑯二問胸針飾錶，可能由戒指改成，年份約1815]
• Movement: gilded, cylinder escapement, repeating on a bell recessed into the backplate
• Dial: white enamel, Arabic numerals, blued steel moon hands, aperture for diamond-set visible balance
• Case: gold octagonal brooch-form probably converted from a ring watch, chamfered bezel of blue translucent enamel set with opaque white roundels, repeating slide to the right case side, the back set with a hinged brooch pin and with sliding panel to reveal apertures for winding, hand-setting and regulation, all with directionals
