Movement: unsigned gilded, verge escapement, plain cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain

Dials: front - white enamel with black Roman numerals for 24-hours running twice from I-XII, outer minutes, inner rings calibrated for month with corresponding polychrome enamel painted signs of the zodiac, inner date ring, central blue enamel roundel for moon phases heightened with gold stars, winding aperture at 3 • Second - white enamel, blue chapter ring with Arabic numerals for 24-hours running twice from 1-12, the centre with large gold disc in the form of a blazing sun with 24 points each engraved with a world location and its corresponding point of latitude North or South

Case: gold case, bezels engraved with foliage, pendant stamped 18k and numbered 9260 with initials ILR and with F in a square cartouche
