• Movement: 18 1/2 '" gilded, ruby cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance, parachute suspension and compensation curb, signed and numbered Breguet 206
• Dial: guilloché dial, satin finished chapter ring with Roman numerals, outer minute track, secret Breguet signature either side of 12 o'clock numbered 206, blued steel Breguet hands, satin finished banner above 6 o'clock signed Breguet
• Case: 18ct gold engine-turned case by Tavernier, gold cuvette held by one blued steel screw and signed and numbered Breguet 206, case front and back numbered B 206 and S 119, case maker's mark LS between a triangle and star within lozenge-shaped cartouche, Paris control mark for 1819-1838

At the time of its sale at the 1991 Art of Breguet auction, it was noted that this watch was originally sold to a Monsieur Rigaud on 15 January 1839, for 1000 Francs. However, the watch appears to have been re-purchased fairly quickly since Breguet re-sold the watch to Monsieur Pierre Lalanne de Bayonne on 17 September the following year. It was later re-purchased once again and sold by Breguet to Henri Moser & Cie., who were at that time Breguet's agent in Moscow.
