• Movement: frosted gilded, lever escapement, 16 jewels, bi-metallic compensation balance, numbered 399169
• Dial: champagne dial, black Arabic numerals, minute ring interspersed with red 24-hour markers, blued steel cathedral hands, sunken centre and subsidiary seconds, signed Ernst Borel & Cie
• Case: 14ct gold, the front cover with two polychrome enamel painted horses against a blue guilloché enamel ground, the border of opaque white enamel banding and panels of matching enamel, the reverse similarly decorated with a polychrome enamel painted horseshoe, gold polished cuvette engraved with movement details and signed and numbered Borel Fils & Cie., Neuchâtel, No.416780 and engraved H. Shmulevitch, Elizavetgrad in Cyrillic, suspended from a 14ct gold chain clip
