Slight variations to carving on both chairs. Wear and rubbing to painted decoration on both, as seen in catalogue images. Scattered chips, nicks, and small losses to carved elements throughout both. Some faint staining to upholstery on one chair. One chair with an old break to back rails that reopened and will need restorative attention. Shrinkage at joints, commensurate with age and use.
