An example of this form marked for Jacob Petit was in the Collection of Countess Mona Bismarck, sold at Sotheby's Florence, 6 April 1987, lot 591 and subsequently sold at Sotheby's Milan, 20 May 1992, lot 603. A further example bearing the same incised numeral as the present lot was sold at Sotheby's New York, 21 October 1993, lot 70
