Set with a cushion-shaped ruby weighing 8.11 carats, embellished with cabochon rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, signed Wallace Chan, size 6.


Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 20021123, dated 2 March 2020, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.

Signed Wallace Chan, inscribed Ti for titanium, R8.11, R6.58 and R1.95 referring to the weight of the cushion-shaped ruby and total weight of the cabochon rubies and eight bigger brilliant-cut diamonds respectively. Cushion-shaped ruby is medium dark red colour and strong saturation, there are typical inclusions with some to the surface, some abrasions, nicks and pits, a few minor chips and a few small cavities at the girdle; cabochon rubies are well matched, of medium purplish red colour and medium saturation, there are minor typical inclusions with a few to the surface; all rubies observed under 10x magnification. Bigger brilliant-cut diamonds are about G-H colour, VS clarity, as graded in the mount. Small diamonds are bright and lively.

Signs of minor wear to the metal. Overall in very good condition.
