Designed as a panther, pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, onyx spots and pear-shaped emerald eyes, perched on an onyx hoop, suspending tassels accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, terminating on emerald drops, mounted in 18 karat white gold, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, Swiss assay marks, case stamped Cartier.

Accompanied by Cartier's certificate of authenticity.

Accompanied by Cartier certificate of authenticity and three photos to show the method on the opening and closing of the safety catch.

Signed Cartier, numbered DGX322, inscribed Au750 and with French and Swiss assay marks for 18 karat white gold. With French maker's marks. Emeralds are of medium green colour and medium saturation; pear-shaped emeralds are in good condition; and the drop-shaped emeralds are well matched, under 10x magnification, there are typical inclusions and some are surface reaching, a few small cavities and small chips, and some pits, but all blemishes are not noticeable when worn. Onyxes are in very good condition, with a few minute hairline scratches. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 2.50-2.80 carats as gauged in the mount, are bright and lively.

Signs of very minor wear to the metal. Overall in excellent condition. Brooch approximately 128mm high. Case stamped Cartier.
