Designed as a serpent with pear-shaped ruby eyes, the head and tail embellished with brilliant-cut and marquise-shaped diamonds, the gold scales enhanced with circular-cut rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, necklace length approximately 390mm, signed Bulgari, numbered, Italian assay and maker's marks, case stamped Bulgari.

Signed BVLGARI, numbered 261454, stamped MADE IN ITALY, with Italian assay mark for 18 karat yellow and white gold, and with Italian maker's mark. Rubies estimated to weigh approximately 1.50-2.00 carats in total, well matched, of medium purplish red colour and medium strong saturation, under 10x magnification, there are minor typical inclusions with a few surface reaching, some nicks and pits, circular-cut rubies with a few tiny chips, but all are not visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds estimate to weigh approximately 15.00-17.00 carats, are on average about E-F with some G-H colour, mainly SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount.

Signs of normal wear to the metal commensurate with age. Overall in very good condition. Box stamped Bulgari.
