EMERALD AND DIAMOND BROOCH, 1930S
Of geometric design, set with two step-cut emeralds and a trefoil motif of pear-shaped and square-cut diamonds within a frame of brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, signed Cartier, numbered, hallmark, fitted case stamped Cartier.
Accompanied by a Cartier certificate of authenticity, together with an SSEF report.
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 114994, stating that the emeralds are of Colombian origin, with none to a minor amount of oil in fissures, together with a Cartier certificate of authenticity.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 114994, stating that the emeralds are of Colombian origin, the emerald stated to weigh approximately 5.33 carats, measuring approximately 12.35 x 11.30 x 5.25mm, is with a minor amount of oil in fissures, and the emerald stated to weigh approximately 1.96 carats, measuring approximately 7.90 x 7.20 x 4.60mm, shows no indications of clarity modification in fissures. Together with a copy of a Cartier certificate of authenticity.
Signed Cartier, MADE IN FRANCE, numbered 7438, French assay marks for platinum. Emeralds green of medium-strong saturation, with typical inclusions, a few surface-reaching, a few scratches and nicks. Pear-shaped diamonds stated to weigh a total of approximately 3.47 and the step-cut diamond stated to weigh approximately 2.50 carats, H-J colour, VS-SI clarity. Remaining diamonds stated to weigh a total of approximately 11.27 carats, on average H-J colour, VS-SI clarity, a few I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 23 grams.
