Designed as an articulated line of brilliant-cut diamonds, the front supporting a fringe of graduated pear-shaped diamond pendants, centring on an oval sapphire weighing 35.89 carats, the clasp set with marquise-shaped diamonds, length approximately 390mm, sapphire element detaching to form a brooch.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 112103, stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 112103, stating that the sapphire measuring 20.22 x 16.93 x 10.68mm and weighing 35.864 carats is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heat treatment.

Stamped MV, 750 for 18 carat gold and SC. Sapphire with surface-reaching fissure, and minor wear to areas of facet edges. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 34.00 - 38.00 carats, estimated to be approximately H-J colour, VS-SI clarity on average, including largest pear-shaped diamond, calculated to weigh approximately 1.57 carats, estimated to be J colour, SI2 clarity. Necklace detaching from brooch by pushing and twisting, in good working order. Clasps in good working order. Overall in good condition, gross weight approximately 57 grams.
