Designed as an articulated tiger, set throughout with round diamonds and diamonds of orange, yellow, green and brown hues, embellished with calibré-cut sapphire stripes, the eyes set with round emeralds, highlighted with black enameled details, gross weight approximately 58 dwts, signed René Boivin, Paris, with French assay marks; circa 1960s. With signed box.
In very good condition. French assay marks for 18 karat yellow and pink gold. The diamonds of various hues, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 24.00 - 28.00 carats, ranging from near-colorless to Fancy Vivid Yellow, Fancy Vivid Orangy Yellow, Fancy Greenish Yellow, Fancy Light Orangy Yellow, Fancy Yellowish Brown and Fancy Brownish Yellow, VS-SI clarity. The enamel in overall good condition, with some areas of loss. The emerald eyes slightly bluish green color, slightly included. The sapphires medium blue color, eye-clean to slightly included. Dimensions approximately 4½ x 2 inches. Please note that the head is articulated to turn. Please note that the diamonds of various hues have not been tested for natural origin of color.
