 [卡地亞]

 [蛋白石配鑽石及紅寶石別針]

Designed as a bird of paradise, set with an oval-shaped black opal tablet measuring approximately 26.3 x 21.5 mm, decorated with marquise-shaped, round and single-cut diamonds, set with a round ruby eye, perched atop a branch set with baguette diamonds, signed Cartier; circa 1950s. With signed box.

In good condition, with light overall wear and discoloration to the gold, commensurate with age. Mounted in platinum and 18 karat gold. The ruby eye medium deep red color, slightly included. The opal displays very strong play-of-color, with primary hues of red-orange, yellow and green, and secondary hues of blue, purple and violet; with eye-visible signs of crazing. Opal is in a closed, yellow gold mounting, obscuring view from the reverse. The diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 8.00 carats are approximately F-H color, predominantly VS clarity. Gross weight approximately 22 dwts. Dimensions approximately 4¼ x 1¼ inches.
