The sculpture appears sound. The surface of the bronze is uneven in keeping with the Artist's working methods. There is some rubbing to the protruding edges of the bronze, including to the back of the head and external ridges of the wings and legs. There are one or two spots of oxidation, including to the creviced areas at the centre of the figure's front. There may be one or two minute casting imperfections. There is some variation to the patina to the figure's right proper shoulder. There are some instances of minor surface dirt in the creviced areas. This excepting, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
The work is freestanding on an integrated base.
