This print is in generally fair to good condition. Sharp creases, many of which break the emulsion, are visible throughout, although they are largely concentrated at the edges of the image and in the margins. There are some attendant chips to the emulsion at the creasing in the upper corners. The margin edges are worn and chipped, and corners are rounded.

The reverse of the print is soiled. The Magnum Photo Library stamps are numbered in pencil in an unidentified hand. Additional stamps include '32654' (in red ink) and 'This print is not to be mounted or airbrushed.' The following is in pencil in an unidentified hand: 'White-Rose Essay'; 'Youth N. Y. Subway'; 'F' (circled); and '4' (circled). 'Emotions' is in ink in an unidentified hand.

There is a Danziger gallery label on the reverse of the frame.
