Comprising:

- Masakiyo's Challenging Battle (Taiheiki Masakiyo nansen no zu), from the series Taiheiki (Taiheiki, Masakiyo nansen no zu), embellished with mica, each sheet signed Ikkaisai Yoshitoshi hitsu), censor's seal aratame, published by Yamashiroya Jinbei (Sansendo), 10th month 1866

- The Battle at Jinju during Masakiyo’s Conquest of Korea (Masakiyo Sankan taiji, Shinshujo kassen no zu), each sheet signed Ikkaisai Yoshitoshi ga, censor's seal aratame, published by Kakumotoya Kinjiro, 10th month 1863

Each a vertical oban triptych:

The first: each sheet approx. 36.7 x 25 cm., 14 ½ x 9 7/8 in.

The second: each sheet approx. 36.8 x 24.7 cm., 14 ½ x 9 ¾ in.
