The distributors of this film emulated the characteristic Bond title sequence and tagline, by placing Freddy Krueger in a James Bond-like pose inside a circle, resembling a gun barrel. Also included is the tagline 'The name's Krueger... Freddy Krueger'. Eon Productions were not happy with this poster, as it infringed on their brand, and the poster was therefore withdrawn.
