Signed marquet (lower right)

Gouache and pastel on paper

12¾ by 19½ in. (32.4 by 49.5 cm)

Framed: 23½ by 29½ in. (59.7 by 75 cm)

Executed in 1941. 


The pastel is accompanied by a letter from the Fondation Wildenstein attesting that in May 5, 1983, Jean-Claude Martinet, the painter's nephew and Daniel Wildenstein confirmed the inclusion of the work in the Catalogue Raisonné de l’Oeuvre Complet édité par la Fondation Wildenstein.
