The canvas is unlined and inspection under UV light reveals one area of retouching at the centre of the upper edge. There is some slight undulation in the lower right corner of the work and there are some flecks of pigment loss in this corner. There are also some further flecks of loss in a number of places around the extreme edges. There are a couple of fine lines of craquelure. There is some minor frame abrasion at all four edges, and there appears to be an historic flecks of pigment loss at the centre of the right edge. There is some minor surface dirt. This work is in overall good condition.
