The board appears to be sound. There do not appear to be any signs of retouching visible under UV light. There are artist's pinholes at each corner. There is also some rounding to each corner. The board undulates slightly throughout. A small number of the thicker areas of impasto have possibly been lost, largely around the centre of the work, however these are only visible upon close inspection. There are some smaller flecks of pigment loss to the extreme edges. There is surface dirt and studio matter throughout. Overall the work appears to be in good condition.
