The canvas is not lined. Inspection under UV light reveals a few small areas of retouching to the arm, shoulder and hand of the central figure, with a few further spots in the lower quadrants. There are some fine but entirely stable lines of craquelure in places and some paint shrinkage to the woman's legs in the lower left quadrant. There are some occasional flecks of pigment loss throughout. There is some light surface dirt. This work is in overall good condition.
