This work was presented to the Comité Renoir under the sponsorship of the Wildenstein Plattner Institute, Inc. (WPI) at its virtual meeting in April 2020, held in place of an in-person meeting due to the Covid-19 pandemic and in accordance with associated government regulations on travel and confinement. It will be included in the forthcoming Renoir Digital Catalogue Raisonné, currently being prepared under the sponsorship of the Wildenstein Plattner Institute, Inc.
The canvas is unlined. All four edges of the canvas are taped. The canvas is slightly dirty and there is some discolored varnish along the top edge. A few extremely fine lines of craquelure along the top and bottom edges, and to the white house at center. Under UV light: no inpainting is apparent. This work is in overall very good condition.
