FEMME DE PROFIL

Signed Picasso and dated 26 (lower right)

Pen and ink on paper

Image: 7½ by 4¾ in. (19 by 12 cm). Sheet: 10⅜ by 5⅞ in. (26.6 by 15 cm)

Framed: 16¼ by 12½ in. (41.2 by 31.7 cm)

Executed in 1926.

The work is in very good condition. Executed on cream wove paper. The left edge of the sheet has been joined. The edges of the sheet have been unevenly cut. The sheet is hinged to a mount at the upper right and upper left edges of its verso. There is a faint mat stain around the edge of the sheet, not visible when framed. There is slight undulation to the sheet. There is some illegible writing in pen on the verso.
