The canvas has been lined with wax. The extreme edges of the canvas have been taped. Faint scattered lines of cracking are visible, most notably near the figure's chest as well as at her hips and above her knees. Frame abrasion is apparent to the left bottom and right edges. Under UV light: a thick layer of varnish is difficult to read through, though some very fine lines of inpainting are visible within the aforementioned line of cracking at the figure's upper hip as well as in the area above the figure's knees. The work is in overall good condition.
