Oil on canvas

Louis Stern has confirmed the authenticity of this work. It will be included in the catalogue raisonné of paintings, to be published by the Alfredo Ramos Martínez Research Project.

This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer is stable overall. A 1/8-inch circular spot of pigment loss is present at the extreme lower right edge of the canvas. Under ultraviolet light inspection, no evidence of inpainting becomes apparent.
