Nicknamed the “Freccione” which represents “Big Arrow” in Italian for its unusually bright orange 24-hour hand, otherwise known as the Steve McQueen, as there were rumors instigating that he wore one. The reference 1655 had become a highly collectable model in recent years and collectors have learnt that there were many versions of the reference made, including 5 different types of dials, as well as, 4 different version of bezels.

The present watch with the case number 7’431’828 made in the year 1983 is fitted with an MK5 dial, MK4 bezel and 78360 bracelet. With all the components being correct and having been kept in a wonderful condition over the years, it will surely be considered a collectible vintage watch.
