Launched in 2006, reference 5565 was created to commemorate the re-opening of Patek Philippe's salon on Rue du Rhone in Geneva. The watch pays homage to its predecessor reference 565 and bears much resemblance to the sheen two part case. The case back is engraved with the Patek Philippe's salon and inscribed '1839-1892-2006' to celebrate the three milstone years.
Limited to 300 pieces only, the present watch is accompanied by its Certificate of Origin, commemorative medal and presentation box.
