Easily recognized by its cushion shape and nicknamed the “Television Set'' amongst collectors, the reference 5020 is definitely a peculiar model amongst other perpetual calendar chronographs created by Patek Philippe. Originally launched in 1994 and ceased production in 2002, the 8-year production struggled to popularize among collectors and deemed a commercial failure, however in time gained significant interest and appreciation due to its scarce production. Though coming in an unconventional shape, the watch retains an astounding level of dedication within its delicate movement. An unusual rarity among the already ultra-rare Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronographs, the present “Television Set” is an exceptional addition to any watch collection.
