The Aquanaut was Patek Philippe's first experiment with a rubber strap, which eventually gained great success among collectors for its sporty impression. The present example displays a dynamic checkerboard dial, matching extremely well with the black rubber strap. The date aperture is found at 3 o'clock and can be quickly advanced by the crown, providing great functionality.
