Panerai chooses a dark ceramic case for the present Radiomir PAM00339, giving the watch a robust touch but on the other hand maintaining a light weight on the wrist. It features the Panerai signature "sandwich dial", a combination of two dials with the bottom dial lumed and the top dial cut out to expose the indexes. In a warm brown tone, the text "Marina Militare" could be found engraved at the upper centre of the dial. Literally meaning the Italian Navy, this furthermore establishes the historical significance between the brand and its Italian roots in military watchmaking.
