Marking the 25th anniversary of man's first landing on the moon, Omega released the present Speedmaster Professional Chronograph, reference 3192.30 in 1994. Bearing the traditional Speedmaster design, the case back features a sapphire crystal display, revealing the technical expertise of Omega. The band is furthermore engraved with "APOLLO XI 1969-1994", reminding the user of the first spacecraft to touch the surface on the moon.
The present example is number 487 limited to 500 pieces only. Complete with a warranty and a precision certificate, its presentation box is intelligently designed as the shape of a book, documenting this significant accomplishment of mankind.
