To embark on the quest for excellence and to achieve a high standard of craftsmanship, Greubel Forsey chooses to focus on constructing complicated movements that would feature multiple tourbillons and a unique inclined balance wheel.

The Tourbillon 24 Seconds Vision the winner of Aiguille d’Or at the 2015 Grand Prix de l'Horlogerie de Genève, such as the present watch is a model that was introduced by Greubel Forsey in 2015. To embark on a journey in developing the most classic Tourbillon Dress Watch, the present watch is the smallest and thinnest watch that they have ever made. The 24 Seconds Vision would only have a total diameter of 43.5 mm and a reduced thickness of 2.5 mm. To accommodate its unique inclined Tourbillon cage with a smaller case, the watch would further incorporate a dome into the sapphire crystal on the back of the timepiece to create a wider interior space for the movement.

The level of attention to detail given by Grebuel Forsey for this watch was unprecedented from the wearability of the watch to its oven-fired enamel hour marker that provides the watch with an elegant and neoclassic simplicity. Undoubtingly an incredible timepiece, the present watch fully demonstrates Grebuel Forsey’s aim for excellence.

Sotheby's is honoured to work in cooperation with Greubel Forsey, providing the new owner with a complete and complimentary service of the watch from an official Greubel Forsey retailer. This includes the update of the owners book and renewal of the two year owners warranty. In addition the leather strap may be replaced and fitted for their usage. Any additional terms and conditions of this unique offer is available upon request.
